Years 1 & 2 Summer Term
Science
In Science we talked about what a habitat is and what it provides for an animal. We talked about the woodland habitat that surrounds our fields. Then we looked more closely at the micro habitats that are in our school grounds.
After that, we used our observations from previous lessons to think about what type of habitat that the insects would like. We designed and made our own micro habitat.
English
In English we worked with our partners to give each other instructions about how to make a jam sandwich. We orally rehearsed the instructions and identified the verbs we used.
